Welcome to Babu Draw. We take your privacy and the safety of children’s data very seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle information and confirms our strict compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, including User Data, Permissions, and Families Policy sections.

2. Data Collection & Usage (User Data Policy)

Babu Draw is designed to minimize data collection.

  • No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for names, addresses, emails, or phone numbers.
  • User-Generated Content: Drawings created are stored locally on your device. We do not access these files or upload them to external servers.

3. Data Safety (Google Play Data Safety Section)

We adhere to Google Play’s transparency requirements:

  • Encryption: Any necessary communication with third-party services (like loading an ad) is done via secure protocols (HTTPS).
  • No Data Sharing: We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties, except for the limited operational purposes described below (safe advertising and anonymous analytics).

4. Permissions & APIs (Permissions Policy)

We request only permissions strictly necessary for the app’s core functionality:

  • Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES):
    • Purpose:To allow the user to save their finished drawings to the device’s gallery.
    • Justification:This feature is explicitly initiated by the user (tapping the “Save” button) and is core to a drawing app experience. We do not access other personal photos or files.

5. Children's Privacy (Families Policy & COPPA)

Our app is directed at children and complies with COPPA and GDPR:

  • Safe Ads: We use Google AdMob with the “Child-directed” setting enabled. This ensures only family-appropriate, non-personalized ads (no behavioral tracking) are shown.
  • No Dangerous External Links: The app is designed to keep children in a safe environment.

6. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted service providers who also comply with Google Play policies:

  • Google AdMob: To display safe, non-personalized advertising.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase:To collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., “cat drawing selected”) to help us improve the app. This is not linked to user identity.
